Entrading : Glasgow green store with an urgent mission.

Entrading is a recently opened green/organic store in Glasgow. The story behind its founding is fascinating.

Prof James Curran believes that we have 20 years to head off radical environmental changes, but decided the best way to fight it was not in his previous job as the head of the Scottish Environment Protection Agency. Instead he opened a store to try and directly change peoples attitude and way of life.
There are umbrellas made from recycled plastic and aluminium, 100 per cent recycled glassware, candles made from sustainable palm oil, clothing made from hemp and organic cotton, environmentally-friendly cosmetics, stuffed toys made from organic materials, furniture made from shopping trolleys, washing machines and wheelbarrows and a wide range of DIY materials including carpets, eco-paint, and timber made from recycled agricultural plastics.
