Organic Spanish wine

We recently enjoyed a delicious, organic wine called Vertus which is produced in Spain from the classic Spanish varietal Tempranillo, the grapes that make Rioja. These wines are renowned for a deep ruby wine with berry, plum, and vanilla characteristics. The 2003 vintage which is produced by Bodegas Iranzo is a medium bodied, smooth drink that paired well with butternut squash risotto.

If you like organic wines you may be interested in joining the Eco Vine wine club that specializes in organic and sulfite free wines. They do all the work of finding limited edition, organic wines and can have a few bottles shipped to you each month. You can also choose single bottles to try.
